How will the government go about chosing companies for their new policies on unemployment?
I have been told at the Job Centre that a new policy will be coming into force in July whereby all long term unemployed people will be made to take on a job, but will still be paid JSA and will still have to sign on every 2 weeks. I was wondering what the criteria would be for selecting those companies. Do the companies themselves apply to the government, or does the government approach them. And what is the specific requirements that these companies need for them to be eligible to take on long-term unemployed people?
